2022 US Middle School Team Squash Championships
February 11, 2022-February 13, 2022

PLEASE REVIEW RULES AND TEAM ELIGIBILITY TERMS FROM US SQUASH:
All players must submit proof of Covid vaccination prior to the tournament and should be prepared to follow Covid testing requirements.
All spectators must present proof of Covid vaccination to enter the Arlen Specter Center.
2021 - 2022 Middle School Championships Eligibility Criteria:
All participants must be current US Squash members through the last day of the tournament.
All participants are required to have taken and passed the online referee exam before the start of the tournament.
All participants must be currently enrolled and attending classes for the school they will represent.
All participants must be enrolled in 8th grade or below to be eligible to participate.
Each team must have a minimum five (5) players on their roster. Matches are played with five players from each team.
Each team may roster a maximum of seven (7) players. This means two alternates may be rostered and would be permitted to play in a tournament match.
Co-ed teams are permitted to participate in the Middle School Championships in the Boys’ division.
Individual players are not permitted to play in more than one of the following three team championship tournaments: National Interscholastic, Middle School, or High School Team Championships.
Team and player participation in the tournament is at the discretion of US Squash.

*Easy walking distance from The Study and Arlen Specter Center. Rooms are a bit dated, but clean. Has attached garage for guest self parking.

*Also easy walking distance (12 minutes) to the Arlen Specter Center.
Homewood Suites by Hilton, 4109 Walnut Street
*A bit further away from the Arlen Specter Center (about a 20 minute walk).
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE:
Team schedules will be updated frequently throughout the tournament. All players must be available from the morning of Friday, Feb 11- 4pm on Sunday, Feb 13th.

Heirloom Market- 3401 Chestnut Street. A small, upscale grocery store with some grab and go options including sandwiches and sushi.
Casual:
During matches: There is a casual cafe located on the second level of the Arlen Specter Center that offers a good assortment of lunch and snack options.
Axis Pizza- 20 S 36th St, Philadelphia. Dine in or take out pizza restaurant. Rec from recent visitors said the white pizza is good, tastes like cheesy garlic bread, but skip the garden salad.

Boba King- Bubble tea restaurant 3200 Chestnut
Spread Bagels- 3602 Chestnut Offers a great selection of fresh ball and delicious breakfast and lunch bagels. Really good coffee.

White Dog - 3420 Samson Street. The first farm-to-table restaurant in Philadelphia, offers a great menu and is very popular. Reservations recommended.
Co-op in The Study- offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dinner reservations recommended.
