Cancellation due to COVID-19
Darien Squash feels that it is important to be transparent with how we will handle refunds should the fall season be cancelled due to COVID-19.
The following expenses
are refundable (1st session $217.50; additional sessions $182.50 each)
- Facility/Court Fees incurred by Darien Squash
- End-of-Season Darien Squash Team Event
The following expenses
are credited, (1st session $200.00; additional sessions $N/A)
- Two private 45-minute squash lessons. Lessons are scheduled directly with Ox Ridge Pros at a mutually agreed upon time. There is no expiration date on when athletes can take their lessons
The following expenses are
not refundable, (1st session $242.50; additional sessions $175.00 each)
- League Athletics processing credit card transaction fees incurred by Darien Squash
- The cost of the team shirt, personalized and purchased on behalf of a athletes. If the season is cancelled, athletes will still receive their shirt
- Contracted coaches’ fees*
* Should the fall season be cancelled, athletes will be invited to attend weekly virtual training sessions with their coach. We are doing everything possible to take care of our coaches. We want to have a quality program with qualified coaching for our athletes when they return.
Withdrawals/Late Registrations
The $32.50 Registration Fee is non-refundable. Full Refund of the program fee will be given for program withdrawals requested before August 28, 2020. After August 28, NO REFUNDS, NO EXCEPTIONS. We do not prorate late registrations. The total cost of the season is shared evenly among players, which is why we cannot prorate or offer refunds.
General Cancellations
Darien Squash reserves the right to cancel sessions due to less than minimum registration. Cancellation decisions will be made before the start of a season, and Darien Squash will issue a full refund or credit to those registered for the cancelled session. If a class is cancelled due to weather conditions or Ox Ridge Club closing, Darien Squash will reschedule the group class for later date in the season.
Makeup Policy
Program participants register for classes on specific dates and times. Unless Darien Squash cancels a class, and provides for a makeup, attendance in scheduled classes is the responsibility of the participant. We cannot provide makeup classes or allow the participant to attend a different class.
